CBSE Class 12 Changed Pattern 2020 : All the changes in CBSE class 12 exam
CBSE has changed the pattern of boards for both the classes 10 and 12 by keeping some of the objectives in mind and the most important one is to vanish the idea of rote learning from among the students by introducing objective type questions and the other major changes so here goes all the changes in detail .

CBSE Class 12 Changed Pattern 2020 : All the changes in CBSE class 12 exam
  1. Internal Choices in Questions – Increased

This pattern change topic that is increment in the internal choices was introduced last year only. Earlier , less number of questions had internal choices with them but now it is not so.
The students will be given more questions with internal choices in every section than before .It will definitely help them as with the increase in choices students can select the questions they know well and hence answer them in detail according to the required marks.
So , I find it helpful for the students and a tool to perform well as it gives a lot of options to switch on other choices which one knows very well.

  2. Objective Type Questions
The major change in CBSE Class 12 pattern is the introduction of objective type questions. These objective type questions will be of 20 marks means 20 objective questions of 1 mark each and the rest of the paper , that is , out of 80 marks , 60 marks subjective questions will be asked . So , this actually fulfills the motto of CBSE to vanish rote learning from examination. Also , this will help students to have a better understanding of various subjects.

And most importantly don’t you think it will help the students to manage their time. So ,it goes like this that you have to do 60 marks subjective in those three hours probably.
So , now students will get more time to do their subjective questions.

  3. Assessment for Speaking and Listening (ASL) in English

This is always held to improve the speaking and listening skills of the students. I find it very helpful for the students and it is a type of activity for them. So , it is going to carry 20 marks weightage in the English paper and the actual paper will be of 80 marks . So , the students can gain 20 marks by performing well in ASL.

  4. Weightage of marks for the internal exams

This time CBSE has introduced this change also for Class 12 in Board Exams. So , Mathematics and English are the major subjects which have this change since they have no practicals. So , internal assessments like in English ASL ,will contribute 20 marks in the result and the rest 80 marks are given to the English main exam .

Similarly, in Mathematics also the school exams held will contribute 10 marks in the result out of 20 and the rest 10 marks will be taken from the internal evaluation which are probably given by teachers only for the maintenance of copies , doing assignments and all that .
The Mathematics and English exam will be of 80 marks that is the students will get 80 marks question paper in these subjects.
These are the major changes introduced by CBSE for Class 12 Boards .
