Subject : Rise in road accidents in the country

Sir
With the columns of your esteemed daily , I wish to attract the attention of the concerned authorities towards the rise in the road accidents in the country.

It is a great sorrow to know about the rise in accidents in the country . Around five people die every minute due to road accidents . This problem is increasing day after day due to no attention of people towards the traffic rules and they ignore it .People also do not follow the traffic rules and their execution is also not very good . It is also the smart phones which have disturbed the life of the people and hearing music while driving also leads to road accidents due to diversion of mind . The major reason of road accidents is drink and drive . People drive after drinking alcohol when their mind is not working at its highest level and slowed down.

These road accidents could be reduced by proper execution of traffic rules, people arriving without license should not be allowed to drive and their license should be cancelled. Also people should be made aware about these accidents and fine should be imposed on rash driving . I would be glad if you publish my article in your newspaper .

Thank you
Yours sincerely
